My mom.
My mommola.
My mommola pastramola!
Always one to have fun, to share the good times and to support me through the rough.
Class mother and baker of the best chocolate chip cookies.
Encourager and supporter of everything I have ever wanted to do, even when she did not always understand it.
Strong, smart and fearless; a true role model.
Never afraid to try something new...even the crazy things her kids ask her to do.
Kind as can be, but will kick the ass of anyone who hurts her children.
Proof that good things come in small packages.
Witty and funny, and understands what it means to laugh at yourself when you trip over your own feet.
Who's my mother? Someone that cannot be fully explained in a blog post. But trust me, she's awesome!

union rat
Drive by photo on the Long Island Expressway in Suffolk County. The next day, the rat was gone but there was a nice bright orange spray painted sign on the iron beams about boycotting non-union supporting businesses. The day after, that protest sign was half blacked out.
And the construction continues.
And the construction continues.
the aliens have landed
and are hanging out on Portion and Holbrook roads. Oh, the things I get to see on my commute to work.
